Clutter the enemyof productivity

Tim was wondering why he was feeling so stressed out and struggling with depression and frustration. He was always behind on his projects. He felt like he was running, running, running but getting nowhere.

Then he came across a study from the UCLA’s Center on Everyday Lives and Families (CELF), they discovered that clutter has a big impact on our moods and self-esteem.

They found that the more stuff a women had in her house the higher the level of cortisol, a stress hormone, was in her system.

He then came across an article at www.psychologytoday.com and learned that clutter “bombards our minds with excessive stimuli…causing our senses to work overtime” and “Clutter makes it more difficult to relax, both physically and mentally.”…“clutter creates feelings of guilt and embarrassment…” and “clutter causes frustration…”

As Tim looked around his office he realized that clutter could be adding to his mental and emotional battles and keeping him from being as productive as he could be.

Stress causing, brain numbing, productivity killing clutter.

Clutter is a main cause of poor productivity and poor time management. Clear your office space, areas at home and clear your mind clutter and you’ll be surprised at how free and happy you’ll feel.
