If you’re going to build your business on the Fear Of God, then there are going to be times of testing.

Others may laugh at or ridicule a decision you make. They’ll tell you, “That doesn’t make sense.”

But if it’s according to Bible Based principles then we need to stand up and say “I’m not ashamed of God and the wisdom of His Word. This decision may cost me financial loss but it’s the right thing to do.”

God will honor you for your Biblical standard and you’ll reap the long term benefits in your business as you trust Him.

I have experienced over and over again that when the fear of God is put ahead of the fear of man it enables you to grow in knowledge and wisdom, even in the practical day to day knowledge needed in running your business.

In the Bible we see that when Daniel and his companions honored God even before the king they were given knowledge and wisdom. “God gave them knowledge and skill in all literature and wisdom;” (Daniel 1:17)

As you walk in the Fear of God, you’ll receive insight and wisdom in practical situations that you normally wouldn’t have had. It is as if God opened your brain and poured in some things that weren’t there. Even you’ll stand back and say, “Wow, that was a great idea, but it certainly didn’t come from me.”

Now the world likes to call that your inner self or your intuition and some will even say, “the higher power.”

But we prefer to give credit where it is belongs, to God our creator. The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. To God our Savior Jesus Christ.

God in his mercy at times will give unbelievers insights and knowledge. As Jesus said God sends His rain on the just and the unjust. The sad part is most men then will give praise to just about anything or anybody except the God who created them.

We as Bible Based Business Owners are not ashamed to give the glory where the glory is due to God our Creator!

Jeff
